Theatre is not acting. It has a much broader meaning. Theatre is a complete transformation package with various elements beautifully imbibed within. Focus, endurance, connectivity, confidence, posture, gesture, speech, body movements, music, composition, direction… the list is long. This is the reason why this art form, that started long back, before Christ, is still alive and slowly getting its deserved place in the school curriculum also.
Magic Creations, with the help of experts from NSD and other experts from the field, designed a syllabus that has been effectively working on the various life skills needed to be a successful, happy and observant individual. We cater to all age groups from 5-75 years and above.
PATANG- A theatre group for adults
Delivered by Sameer Anthwal, a director- actor- facilitator with an experience of 20+ years, this course is designed for enterprising individuals, who are ready to invest in themselves. In case you always wanted to do theatre, but life did not give enough chance to delve in, this is for you!

Can we learn theatre online?Yes. Very effectively. Theatrical activities can be conducted online as effectively as these are done during in-person sessions, with a little modification in approach. The added advantage online theatre brings is, opportunity to closely observe yourself as you are in front of camera throughout the session, creating a perfect blend of stage and camera acting.

How long is the course?One year. Although Modules are divided into 3 or 6 months capsules, depending upon the course that you choose.

Do you offer short term courses too?Yes. We keep conducting 3-4 weeks long theatre workshops. Such announcements are made through our social media handles.

What all is covered during the classes?Various life-skills like speech, body language, confidence, gestures, observational skills, situation handling, time management, teamwork and more are polished through theatrical activities. Theory and pracatical together make it a holistic experience. In-depth discusstions and script reading sessions are the icing on the cake.

Do you do any shows too?Yes. Every 6 months we make an informal online interaction with students and parents, with an on-the-spot improvised performance. Once in a year, we orgalise live online event for them, inviting theatre fraternity, parents, families & friends. We also make short films. Since we are connected virtually and all the participants join from their respective places/ cities, we create scripts that give us the liberty to shoot in our own spaces and then compile & edit it.

What are the advantages of online theatre classes?A lot of commuting time is saved as classes are just a click away. Participants from various cities join the and that brings an interesting range of experiences and learnings to the room.
